Dry Type Transformers in Parma
We use superior-grade materials and copper conductors because of their high-conduction ability when manufacturing our dry type transformers. The windings have three categories:
- Disc: Disc winding is often used in core-form transformers of 25 kilovolts (kV) or higher. Since it is the preferred design for high voltage transformers, we utilize it for our medium voltage dry types.
- Primary: Our primary windings include round coils with slotted combs and insulated copper wire covering (either film or Nomex).
- Secondary: These windings are made from sheet wound copper with Nomex insulation.
Our transformers feature round coils as they are more durable and able to withstand the workload better than rectangular coils. We also do custom bus work to suit your unique requirements — for example, a custom model for your ideal core and coil assemblies.
